The Birmingham Safeguarding Adults Board is holding a Practitioner Forum for frontline workers, focused on diabetes and exploring the obstacles Practitioners may face in Birmingham.
The Birmingham Safeguarding Adults Board is holding a Practitioner Forum for frontline workers, focused on diabetes and exploring the obstacles Practitioners may face in Birmingham when working with adults with care and support needs with a particular emphasis on prevention and safeguarding.
The session will bring together frontline workers from various agencies across Birmingham.
The session will be facilitated by professionals from across the Safeguarding Adults Partnership in Birmingham.
This will be a discussion based session where practitioners will have the opportunity to share good practice, and explore issues, challenges, and barriers faced when working with adults with care and support needs who have a diagnosis of diabetes.
The face to face event is taking place Monday 22 September 2025 13:00 - 16:30 at The Hub - West Midlands Fire Station, 99 Vauxhall Road, Birmingham, B7 4HW
