The Safeguarding Adults Practitioner Forum is aimed at front-line staff. The theme of this Practitioner Forum is Forced Marriage. It will be an opportunity to discuss and learn.
This virtual session hosted by the Birmingham Safeguarding Adults Board (BSAB) is aimed at front line practitioners in Birmingham who work with adults with care and support needs and will focus on Forced Marriage.
The interactive session will look at a case study involving a forced marriage for an adult with care and support needs. The session will share key learning and outcomes from a case study.
The session will be facilitated by West Midlands Police DI Wendy Bird and Rachael Clawson Associate Professor of Social Work - Nottingham.
The session will be delivered via Zoom.
