The Birmingham Safeguarding Adults Board is holding a Practitioner Forum for frontline workers, focused on cultural barriers in Health and Social Care.
The Birmingham Safeguarding Adults Board are holding a frontline workers Practitioner Forum about Cultural Barriers in Health and Social Care and the obstacles front line Practitioners may face in Birmingham when working with adults with care and support needs, with a particular focus on prevention and safeguarding.
The session will bring together frontline workers from various agencies across Birmingham.
The session will be facilitated by professionals from across the Safeguarding Adults Partnership in Birmingham.
This will be a discussion based session where practitioners will have an opportunity to share examples of good practice, explore issues and barriers encountered when working with adults. Reflect on approaches to support individuals and the importance of multi-agency working and cutural competency/humilty.
The face to face event is taking place Tuesday 21 April 2026 from 12:00 - 15:30 at West Midlands Fire Station, 99 Vauxhall Road, Birmingham, B7 4HW
