Safeguarding adults workshops for people providing domiciliary/personal care or care in a residential or nursing setting

Following the implementation of “Safeguarding adults: multi-agency policy and procedure for the West Midlands” and Birmingham’s Local Practice Guidance in April 2013 we have been working with providers to develop workshops to support the implementation of the procedures in Birmingham.

We are pleased to announce that we have now commissioned a series of ‘bite sized’ workshops that are based on case scenarios and targeted towards people providing domiciliary/personal care or care in a residential or nursing setting to reinforce roles and responsibilities under the new procedures where an adult may be at risk of abuse.
The workshops will run between October and December 2013

The BSAB has commissioned this training so you will not be charged for attending. If you book a place we do expect you to turn up to ensure that we make best use of the resources invested in this.
